What:  Rotary Student Exchange Program
 

Who:  All students between the ages of 15 and 17.

When:  Leave August 2016.  Return July 2017.

Where:  Current countries include – Chile, Denmark, Brazil, New Zealand,
Taiwan, France, Belgium, Denmark, Argentina, Croatia, Norway, Mexico,
Germany, Finland,Thailand, Switzerland, Austria, Japan and Ecuador.

Why:  Study and live in a foreign country for 12 months with up to
4 different host families. 

          
Note:  Mandatory expenses for flight, insurance, visa, passport and
inoculations are usually around $4,000. Often there is an optional  Rotary

sponsored trip at the end of the year.  The costs vary by country.

                      
Students receive a small allowance from their host Rotary Club while overseas.
