Help Build an Accessible Playground at the Riverview Park and Zoo

Project ROAR is a community-driven campaign to build an accessible, inclusive playground where children of all abilities can laugh, explore, and play together—side by side.

It’s bold. It’s fun. And it belongs to everyone.

Riverview Park and Zoo, in partnership with The Rotary Club of Peterborough, is committed to raising $1.5 million to bring this vision to life.

Now, we need you to ROAR with us - for a playground where every child is welcome, and no one is left behind.

We’re turning vision into reality - and you can be part of it!

No longer will children, parents, or grandparents struggle with steep slopes or uneven ground. This transformative project will make the entire playground fully accessible for everyone - whether using a walker, wheelchair, or stroller. It will also feature comfortable, shaded seating areas so parents and older adults can relax and enjoy clear sightlines to the play areas.

This is more than a renovation - it’s a Rotary Legacy Project that will make a lasting impact in our community for generations to come.

You can help make it happen. We're matching every donation up to $125,000!
