Guest speaker: Scott Pepin, CEO, Five Counties Children's Centre

Scott Pepin is a collaborative, client and family-focused leader who brings a unique blend of innovative system improvement experience with diverse health care expertise. His experience includes over 25 years in healthcare and as of July 2020 he became the Chief Executive Office of Five Counties Children's Centre. Previously Scott spent 11 years with Ontario Shores as Director, Mental Health and Addictions for the Central East Region and previously lead the integration of Ontario Shores with Northumberland Hills Hospital, Campbellford Memorial Hospital and Peterborough Regional Health Centre, where he opened a Child and Adolescent Inpatient Unit and Child and Adolescent Urgent Care Clinic.

Scott holds a Bachelor of Social Work and a Master of Social Work degree from Bridgewater State University, as well as an Associate’s Degree in Business. Further, he has specialized training in several other areas, including solution focused therapy, indigenous cultural safety training, health care risk management.
