We’re thrilled to invite you to a very special Rotary Regional Retreat, happening October 18–19 at Camp Kawartha—just north of Lakefield, nestled on the beautiful shores of Clear Lake. This year’s retreat is extra meaningful: Camp Kawartha was founded by Rotarians over 100 years ago, and now we’re returning to this special place for a weekend of connection, inspiration, and fun. With the retreat being so close to home, we’re hoping for a strong showing from our local clubs as well as attendees from further afield! Here’s what to look forward to:

Let’s show the spirit of District 7010. Whether you’re a new member or a long-time Rotarian, this retreat offers something for everyone — and an unforgettable chance to connect with fellow change-makers. If you have questions, please reach out to Atul Swarup. |

How Wounded Warriors Support Veterans and 1st Responders with PTSD
Nov. 10, 2025 11:45 a.m.
Dave Kervin is an Ambassador for Wounded Warriors Canada (WWC), a national mental health service provider dedicated to serving Trauma Exposed Organizations, Trauma Exposed Professionals and their families. WWC specializes in providing services that utilize a combination of education, counselling, and training approaches in the delivery of culturally specific mental health training and counselling programs that support resiliency and recovery from post-trauma injuries in the workplace and at home. Resiliency requires a combination of relevant and usable knowledge, skills practice, and ongoing social support to grow and be sustained. Recovery from post-trauma injury requires specific interventions, member support, and community resources to flourish and be sustained. Wounded Warriors Canada is proud to be a national leader in both areas. Please Note: Our meetings aren’t open to the general public, so attendance is limited to visiting Rotarians, invited guests of a member, the guest of the speaker, or those who have been invited by our membership chair. Wild Irish Geese
Nov. 24, 2025 11:45 a.m.
"It feels like writing this play has been a culmination of my life’s experiences and obsessions. Having lost both of my parents as a young woman, I grappled with the concepts of legacy, of starting over, of identity, of history and roots and we are all somehow tethered to the past by an invisible umbilical cord. It has been a deep honour to explore these concepts through the stories of the people who risked so much to begin again in this new world."Join us as Megan Murphy shares her story about researching and writing the 4th Line Theatre play, Wild Irish Geese. Please Note: Our meetings aren’t open to the general public, so attendance is limited to visiting Rotarians, invited guests of a member, the guest of the speaker, or those who have been invited by our membership chair.
